Nancy Drew - Curse of Blackmoor Manor (DVD/TV) - Review

Nancy Drew - Curse of Blackmoor Manor (DVD/TV)
Ages: Everyone

I ended my review of the last Nancy Drew mystery, The White Wolf of Icicle Creek with, "I can only hope that this one was rushed out to prepare for something much, much better." Well, dang it all if they haven't done it. The took one of the best mysteries in the series, Curse of the Blackmoor Manor and turned it into a game you can play on your TV using the TV remote as the controller. And it works! The game has been retooled so that with just the four cardinal directions and an enter button you can play the game.

The story takes place in an extravagant mansion, with interesting characters and mysterious rituals. For a full review, check out the original review. The game comes with a free copy of The Haunted Carousel for the PC.

Fun Factor: You don't need a PC or a game console to play this game -- only your TV.
Female Factor: Again -- Nancy is the greatest.
Player Friendly: Controls are easy once you stop missing the mouse.
