Sims 2 Pets - Review

Sims 2 Pets
Ages: Everyone

How can you compare an 11 page black and white instruction booklet with 320 pages of tips, cheats and instructions in four colors? All that is missing is music. Sims 2 Pets might seem like a strange game to require such a complete strategy guide but Sims is a game of life, and let me tell you – pets are some people's children. You won't believe what you can do for them. Pages and pages on how to make your pets comfy, have quality time with them, even instructions on werewolves – they make excellent pet trainers, and skunks, although they are NPCs, can cause an inordinate amount of strife in your Sim's life. The guide includes new build mode additions, cheats – a couple good ones turn off aging and make pets fully controllable. There is also some bonus material – a refresher course for the Sims 2 which charts most of the pertinent information.

There is section on Sims 2 Pets for the consoles. The information, which, because it is a self contained game, varies considerably from the PC version. The guide gets you up to speed on Sims background, creation and basic game play, and still gives full attention to pets – who are actually, just other Sims.
